About Us

In 2020 our family (Todd, Janelle, Kourtney and Shaelyn) started a skin care business, Koko & Shae.  It was named for our daughters, Kourtney (Koko) and Shaelyn (Shae).

Kourtney was born with a rare and severe skin disorder called Epidermolysis Bullosa.  In order to soothe Kourtney’s skin Janelle created the signature product, Kokonut Oil.  It brought relief to Kourtney’s skin and when friends and family began asking for refills, Koko & Shae was born!
Currently we make a variety of other products including natural deodorant, sugar scrubs and room sprays.  Each product is made with clean, non-toxic ingredients.
With great sadness Kourtney’s battle with EB ended on September 25, 2022 just 5 days after her 25th birthday.  Todd, Janelle and Shae’s desire is to keep Koko & Shae going as part of Kourtney’s legacy of Faith, Hope and Courage.
